On Wednesday 22nd June 145 Year 8 pupils, accompanied by 8 members of staff, set off on the Year 8 outing to The Jungle, an outdoor adventure centre in
Magherafelt. After a warm welcome by Jungle Staff, the pupils were given a briefing on all the activities available on site. These included body zorbs,
crazy golf buggies, llama trekking, boat rides, bungy trampolines, fun zorbs, archery and also a high ropes bridge with a 30ft descent – some of the
teachers were even brave enough to try this!
Year 8 thoroughly enjoyed their day out and after a picnic lunch they travelled safely back to CGS, sadly without their new llama and chicken friends!
