Y8 Entrance Criteria September 2026
Each year we admit 156 pupils into Year 8. Pupils are admitted according to our Admissions Criteria and the admissions process is administered by the Transfer Office of the Education Authority. Our Admissions Criteria are renewed annually by our Board of Governors.
It is not possible to apply directly to the School for a place in Year 8.
We look forward to welcoming Primary pupils and parent/carers to our Open Night on Thursday 22nd January 2026 from 6.30pm to 9.00pm
Post Primary Admissions September 2026
The Education Authority has confirmed the following timetable of key dates for Post Primary Admissions:
- Admissions criteria live on EA Website and School website – 10th December 2025
- Online Applications open – 27th January 2026 (12 noon)
- Online Applications close – 19th February 2026 (12 noon)
- Notification of outcome of Applications – Saturday 9th May 2026
