Parental Contribution – We Ask All Families to Support
At Coleraine Grammar School, we offer your child life changing opportunities both in the classroom and beyond. We foster excellence and ambition in a diverse and supportive environment and give each pupil every opportunity to reach their full potential. We have been able to offer all these life changing opportunities thanks to the dedication of our staff, enthusiasm of the pupils and the funding that we receive from the families of our pupils via their annual Parental Contributions.
Coleraine Grammar School receives annually two core funding streams; the first via the Education Authority and the second via the voluntary Parental Contributions, and combined, this funding covers our staff costs, our insurance premiums, some of the annual maintenance and upkeep costs of running the school, our facilities, our services, plus some extra-curricular activities available to all pupils. So, to continue our offer or activities and services for all pupils, the Parental Contributions are vital.
Parental Contribution Breakdown
As a Voluntary Grammar School, we ask all families of pupils to contribute £290 per annum. Many families of pupils pay the Parental Contribution as a one-off payment while others choose to pay via a monthly Direct Debit, but please feel free to choose whichever method best suits your personal situation. We sincerely appreciate your support in paying the Parental Contribution.

We ask families to contribute annually £290 per pupil, with a 25% discount for 2nd child (£217.50) and 50% off for 3rd child (£145).

The HMRC offer a ‘Gift Aid Donation’ incentive, whereby once you can fill and in the attached form, and return it to the school, we will process and the HMRC will refund Tax to the school at a rate of 0.25p per £1.00 donated from your unique Parental Contributions.
