The annual CGS Summer Camp took place in the first week of the summer and welcomed 72 incoming Year 8 pupils and 18 pupil leaders into the beautiful surroundings
of Castlewellan Castle
The action packed 5 days included sports, bouldering, crazy golf, canoeing, hiking, drumming and even a barn dance. Everyone really enjoyed themseves and
made lots of friends in preparation for starting school in September.
Congratulations to the Turtles on winning the Camp Challenge, the Sealions for winning the Maze Race and Dorm 7 for winning the Room Inspection.
Thanks to all of the pupils for their enthusiasm and great behaviour. Thank you also to the parents for their support and to all of the pupil leaders
without whom the camp would not be such a success!
