Senior Boys Swimming Relay 6th In Ireland

Buoyed by their recent highest ever ranked position by any male CGS team at the Bath Cup in London 2 weeks ago, the CGS senior boys relay team travelled to Dublin last weekend to participate in the Irish Schools Relay Championships. At the Ulster Championships in February the team came 6th in the freestyle relay and 3rd in the medley relay. In Dublin in the freestyle relay the boys improved their overall time by 4 seconds from the Ulster event and came a very commendable 6th place overall in Ireland. The medley relay team having achieved a bronze medal at Ulster’s and in Dublin at the weekend came 6th overall in Ireland.

Well done to the boys’ senior relay team on a very successful school swimming season.
