Six of our Y10 and Y11 pupils excelled whilst representing N.Ireland in the Loughborough school games last weekend. The creme of UK young athletes assembled
in a tournament regarded as a springboard towards future Commonwealth or Olympic appearances. Our pupils were entered in the indoor rowing event. One
of our girls won a silver medal in the individual event, bronze in the team relay and had the honour of being presented with her medals by Olympic
super star Dame Kathryn Granger. Our other girl struck bronze in the team relay. Two of the boys finished an amazing 4th and 6th in the individual
events and their two team mates secured bronze in the team relay along with the pupil who finished 4th in the individual event. It was a huge honour
for these 6 pupils to represent N.Ireland and they did our school and country proud.
