The RAF Squadronaires visited the school on 10th January to entertain our troops. They performed a concert on the Castlerock Road campus and then nipped
across the round to play on the Lodge Road.
Their 45 minute set ranged from Jazz classics such as, ‘In The Mood’ through Irish favourite, ‘Danny Boy’ to the rugby anthem, ‘Ireland’s Call’. It was
a highly entertaining and interactive event with Georgio serenading members of staff and group of pupils being led on a musical samba through the hall.
However, the pièces de résistance was definitely the Frozen sing-a-long when the entire audience belted out the words to, ‘Let it go’!
Thank you RAF Music for putting on such a great performance for us.
