Very well done indeed to x12 members of our staff who took part in the “PortballinTRI” Charity Team Triathlon event on Saturday 24th June in Portballintrae,
in aid of Sports Academy George, South Africa.
Every team member made a great effort in their respective discipline (750m Swim / 20km cycle / 7.5km run) on what was a day of great fun, involving
55 Triathlon teams.
CGS are proud that our school had x4 teams involved on the day, continuing our fundraising links with Sports Academy, having previously hosted pupil
matches against touring Sports Academy Football and Netball teams.
Special mention must go to CGS Team#1, who achieved 3rd place overall out of the55 teams taking part, FANTASTIC!
Very well done to all involved and thank you to everyone who donated sponsorship money in aid of Sports Academy.
