One of our very talented year 13 musicians competed in the second heat of the Northern Ireland Young Musician of the Year competition on Saturday
and was successful in getting through to next week’s final. The judges complemented her on a very technically assured performance, an excellent
bow arm, lovely stage presence and her natural ability. We think there are about 10 young musicians in the final. This is a remarkable achievement
for this pupil and could possibly lead to her representing CGS in the UK event.
Many congratulations and good luck in the next round!
