LJMU Summer Residential: Wednesday 21 June – Friday 23 June 2017
This year we are once again inviting Year 13 students from Northern Ireland to attend a free, 2 night residential visit,
to coincide with the LJMU Open Day on Friday, 23rd June.
During the residential visit, students will attend the University’s Open Day and take part in taster sessions for a selection of programmes. There
will also be plenty of team building and social activities, including a treasure hunt to familiarise themselves with the city, as well as opportunities
to engage with Student Advocates about student life. The event is funded by LJMU and is completely free for participants.
The Residential is aimed at students who are seriously considering applying to LJMU for 2018 entry and information provided in your application form
should strongly support your wish to take part. Please tell us as much as you can about the reasons why you are interested in studying at LJMU
and what you are hoping to gain from the event. You can treat it as a “dry run” of your UCAS Personal Statement!
To apply for one of 50 places, students must:
- Be a Year 13 student from Northern Ireland
- Complete this registration form: https://www.ljmu.ac.uk/forms/eventweb?eventid=CMP-01677-Y6J6R1. An application pack will then be sent out.
We must receive your completed application by Friday 7 April 2017, along with your parents’ consent and a teacher’s sign-off. Please note that
students must have photographic ID in order to travel.
NI Applicant Day at the Belfast Hilton, Saturday, 25th February 2017
We welcomed over 700 visitors across two sessions at our NI Applicant Day last weekend at the Belfast Hilton. We hope that some of your students attended
and enjoyed the sessions. If students are still undecided, there are opportunities for students to visit LJMU – please take a look here: https://www.ljmu.ac.uk/study/undergraduate-students/visit-us
