Dear Parent/Carer
Following today’s announcement from the Department of Education, the following are the arrangements for January –
- Years 8 – 11 will be remote learning for all of January, and are currently expected to return to school on Monday 1 February.
- Years 12, 13 and 14 will be remote learning week beginning Monday 4 January, and returning to school on Monday 11 January.
- Mock exams for years 12, 13 and 14 are postponed by 1 week, ie –
- Years 12 and 13 begin exams on Monday 18 January
- Year 14 begins exams on Monday 25 January
- Year 10 exams WILL NOT now be taking place as planned. These will be rescheduled in due course.
- NO remote/on-line learning will be provided on Monday 4 January to allow preparation time for teachers.
- Supervision will be available for vulnerable children and children of key-workers in the Castlerock Road library from 8.30am on Monday 4 January. Please
email info@colerainegrammar.com if you wish to avail of this.
- Please email info@colerainegrammar.com if your child is entitled to a free school meal and you wish
to collect one from school during the closure period.
Further details about the arrangements for remote learning will be provided on Monday 4 January.
