The Coleraine Grammar School Inaugural Prize Day took place on 25th November 2016. The guest of honour was Sir David Wootton, President of The Honourable
The Irish Society and former Lord Mayor of London.
The Chair of the Board of Governors, Mr Mullan introduced parents to the proceedings before Dr Carruthers, aided by several pupils, delivered his report
on the first year of Coleraine Grammar. Sir David Wootton presented the prizes and then gave an interesting address about the role of The Honourable
The Irish Society’s role in setting up the two founder schools.
Everyone was also entertained by a composition written by one of our pupils and performed by some of our musicians.
The enjoyable afternoon was rounded off with some light refreshments in the Templeton Hall.
