Last weekend 13 pupils from yrs 8 – 13 took part in the Swim Ulster Schools Cup & Championships in Bangor competing against a total of 1,370 other
pupils across various ulster schools and age categories.
From this small team Coleraine Grammar School now has 2 Ulster Swimming Champions! One of our Y8s won the year 8 50m Breaststroke and will now progress
to the Irish Minor Schools finals in Dublin in February.Then one of our Y13 pupils won the Senior Girls 100m breaststroke and therefore for the
4th year in a row will go on to represent Ulster at the Irish Interprovincial Swimming Championships in Dublin next April.
The Junior boys relay team achieved silver medals in both the medley and freestyle relays with 2 of them also making their individual finals.
