GCSE Results’ Day 2019

GCSE Results' Day

On Thursday 22nd August pupils from Coleraine Grammar School celebrated their GCSE success. An impressive 51 pupils
were awarded at least 5A or A*grades in full course GCSE subjects with 34 of these pupils achieving at least 7A or A* grades. 9 of these pupils achieved
10A or A* grades.

This outstanding collection of grades is a testament to the pupils’ hard work and dedication across the two years of their GCSE studies and they should
be commended for their excellent marks. The names mentioned are only a small sample of the students who performed admirably in their exams.

Headmaster, Dr Carruthers added, ‘Pupils deserve great credit for achieving such good results and taking on the challenge of new courses this year and
the new grading system. I would also like to thank parents for their continued support and the teachers for the immense amount of hard work in achieving
these results.’

The school is very proud of all of their pupils’ achievements and wish all our pupils continued success.
