Coleraine Grammar School’s rowing competition against Methodist College Belfast rowers proved a big success today despite strong north wind trying to scupper the proceedings.
The strong winds restricted the participants to indoor rowing competitions and only two stable rowing boats raced side by side in choppy waters. Everyone enjoyed themselves though and hopefully made new school friends.
A big thanks to our event sponsor Lynas Food Services and the parents’ association, assisted by rowing parents and volunteer coaches, who made the day possible. The barbecue being wolfed down was a testament to the excellent cooks.
