Seats for the 2026 CGS Spring Concerts in the Humphreys Hall were ‘sold out’ for the third consecutive year. Over 300 talented pupils and staff took to the stage to entertain the very appreciative audiences on both nights.
The 2-hour programme included 23 acts and featured music by Bach, Beethoven, Coates, Leonard Cohen, the Beatles, the Cranberries and Bob Dylan, to name a few. There were also original pupil compositions and cover songs, as well as 2 dance acts – the Irish dancers and the street dance group Iconic. Sincere thanks to all involved – from backstage to stage management, lighting and sound, video recording, photography, dance choreography, refreshments, ticket sales etc. but especially to the pupils who took part – well done to everyone! All the time you gave up to attend rehearsals, particularly in the past few weeks, really paid off – thank you!
