CGS Primary School’s Soccer Sevens 2016

Coleraine Grammar were delighted to host over 100 girls to participate in CGS Primary School Soccer 7s on Thursday.
There were teams from Millburn, DH Christie, Hezlett, Leaney, Ballytober, Damhead, Kilmoyle, Harpur’s Hill, St Brigid’s and Millstrand.
After a series of competitive Group and knock-out fixtures the final was contested between St. Brigids Ballymoney and D.H. Christie. This was a very
close encounter with St. Brigid’s winning 1-0.There was some consolation for the Runners-up as Captain Rachel Madden was named the Top Goalscorer.
CGS Headmaster David Carruthers presented the medals and commended all involved for the standard of play and friendly competitive spirit on what had
been a most enjoyable day.
