A group of Lower Sixth Politics students attended the Let’s Talk Event for the Foyle and East Londonderry area on Friday. The event, organised by the Holywell
Diverse City Community Partnership and The Northern Ireland Assembly Education Service, allowed students the opportunity to engage with local politicians
from across the political spectrum, as well as pupils from other schools
Issues discussed included Equal Marriage, The EU, The Economy and the connection between the young and politics.
It is hoped that a similar event will be staged in Coleraine next year.
