In their first match of the season, and wearing their new kit sponsored by Irwin Donaghy Stockman, CGS girls played against Ballymoney High School
in the North Coast Schoolgirl Premier League. The CGS girls took an early lead through a BHS own goal. Unfortunately, some defensive errors
and a breakaway goal against the run of play saw Ballymoney HS end the game worthy 3-1 winners.
