Big Bang Competition Success

Big Bang Success

The Big Bang Competition is a UK wide competition which recognises and rewards young people’s achievements in all areas of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM), whilst providing them with the opportunity to build their skills and confidence in project-based work.
From a pool of hundreds of projects, one of our Y12 pupils had their project nominated to go through to the next round of judging to compete for ‘The Energy Institute Climate Change Special Award’. Her project was entitled ‘Water Electrolysis to Produce Hydrogen as a Green Energy Store’.
On Wednesday 11th May she also took part in the Special Award interview stage of the Competition where she met with Special Award Judges to talk about her project.
