An A2 History Conference took place on Wednesday 13th April 2016 at St Columb’s College, Buncrana Road, Derry/Londonderry. This was arranged by the
North West branch of the Historical Association and A2 historians from a number of schools were invited to attend.
This conference offered Year 14 students an exciting opportunity to attend revision lectures as part of the teaching curriculum programme A2 Modules,
“Nationalism and Unionism, 19th Century Ireland”, “Ireland an Partition 1900-25” and “Clash of Ideologies in Europe: 1900-2000” and
supported Years 14 students as they prepare for their A2 History examinations. These excellent lectures were given by Dr. Russell Rees (former
CAI pupil) and Dr Alice Johnston.
